Yes or No?
I'm intrigued by this blue leather, Chippendale style tufted couch that I spotted on Craig's List. Is it indeed fabulous or am I being blinded by all the tufts? Could it look less granny and more Domino with the right pillows?

I think it's gorgeous and if it's in your area you should buy it! Even if it sits in your basement at least you can look at it everyday!

I think it's amazing! And I agree with all the above comments - maybe paint the legs to modernize it a little, and give it a couple cute pillows! As long as it's not in a grandma's den setting with floral balloon valances, knitted doilies everywhere and dark paneled walls, there's nothing grandma about it!
I would paint the legs a glossy back and go graphic/bold with the pillows. I'm a sucker for anything tufted!

I could take it or leave it...BUT, paint the legs (black/grey/metallic) and I would be sold! Even white might look nice (as a Carolina alum, it would make my little Tar Heel heart so happy)!

My first reaction: Noooo!! Why? Because I have spent the last week wishing I could buy this for myself... but I'm not moving to NC for a few more months. So now I say YES. Buy it. Give it a good home. And if you decide down the road it's not right for you, I don't think you'll have any problem reselling it.
